Who can become e-Stewards Certified?

A: The e-Stewards Certification Program is open to organizations involved in electronics
recycling, refurbishment, asset management, and related processing activities. This includes forprofit, non-profit, and public entities operating in countries where e-Stewards accreditation and
certification bodies are allowed to work.
To be eligible, organizations must have significant in-house processing capabilities and operate
recycling facilities (not just collection sites). They must also commit to full conformance with
the e-Stewards Standard at all of their owned and controlled facilities within the country being
certified.
